Adaptability, Empathy & Artistry: About Me

My name is Jeff (@diaryofabaldguy) and I grew up in Illinois where I established a great career as a senior graphic designer and art director within a powerhouse marketing team. I now reside in colorful Colorado where I feel a true connection with nature, the people and culture on the front range. After leaving the corporate world, my creative prowess has peaked as a freelancer– I thrive being able to design for multiple products and services within a broad scope of industries. I’ve been an artist my entire life as an illustrator and painter and it reflects in my work and visual storytelling for my clients. My superpowers are adaptability, empathy and artistry. I look forward to hearing what yours are! Come join me and let’s journey this together and get beastly for the world to see!

Who are the Tiny Beasts?

Meet Yakoon, my sidekick and your brand concierge. He also has many friends he met along the way (illustrating and writing a book about it now…stay tuned). You’ll meet the Narwalrus, Caracaroo, Mambex, Pangowary, Camelope and many more being developed.

Why a beast? Well, with much inspiration for our worldly, unique creatures, monstrous movies and books from the likes of mastermind Tim Burton and “Where the Wild Things Are” I wanted to represent a brand with authenticity, the way TBS wants to do for you. Yakoon is a mix between a yak, mandrill baboon and wild boar. He lives in a hybrid world like us…just a bit more literal.

Why Us?

What we find these days is a lack of brand recognition and consistency in business’s marketing efforts. That leads to the audience not wanting to spend time for you and the business will be forgotten. Graphic design is more than just a logo. While a logo is the graphical representation, it is just a sliver of the big picture with your brand. What I do is get to know you, what your mission and values are, as well as who your audience is, as well as competition. I’m here to help narrate a unique story for your business with clear communication, empathy and a conscientious effort to spread your voice.
