FOREWORD: It all starts in Wuppertal, Germany, where KNIPEX builds their tools for professionals. If you’re a plumber, you know this ever-popular tool, no butt-cracks about it. Beverly Richards, the VP of Marketing, reached out to me to give her a fresh new look for their prized tool "the Cobra…with a bite."
SETTING: Tradeshows, educational events and even Oktoberfests were decorated with my cobra and plier illustration that were all completely freehand drawn. This was my first “technical” illustration.
