PREFACE: 9th and 10th Anniversary designs
Chapter 1: Art for glassware, posters, poster coloring contest and stickers
FOREWORD: As many of you know I work a part time gig at the best brewery in Golden, CO. I occasionally get a chance to create some art for them and two years in a row I designed some goods for the anniversary bashes they host every Memorial Day weekend.
SETTING: For their 9th, we went with the theme “Rough Roads make Tough Toads” from that pandemic you may have heard of. I created a 3-color screen print artwork for their can glassware, announcement poster and crowler label.
“For the 10th, we went a little more all out. I mean, a decade of delicious beer craft is worthy of a big celebration. The art I created this time was a lot more intricate and we used a digital 4-color process print job for the glass. Then we used the art to create a poster and even a black and white version for the artists out there for a chance to win a prize. And of course you can’t go without a sticker.”
